Ivideon users with business accounts and cloud storage connected can delay recording to their archive in the cloud. Using the new functionality, recordings are first stored locally, on Ivideon Server or an SD card in the camera, and then copied to the cloud later.

It’s autumn, and that means new releases are dropping like leaves from the trees! We added support for camera groups to business users of the Ivideon web application. In previous versions, the only good way to manage groups of cameras was to use the Ivideon Desktop Client.

New Ivideon Client version: digital zoom and other changes

Ivideon Client, just like the web application, lets users watch live feeds and their footage archive from cameras linked to Ivideon Server as well as cameras with Ivideon built in. Videos can be watched via a local area network or online.

We’ve spent months testing Ivideon Server 3.5.9 (really, with the number of changes we’ve made, we could call it version 4.0.0), and it’s finally ready for release. This version includes full support for IP cameras and DVRs using the ONVIF protocol, which all modern IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs offer.
