iOS gets camera layouts!
Ivideon’s iOS app is used by quite a few of our customers every day, generally business owners and managers who aren’t near their computers but need fast access to an overview of their office or other location.
The new functionality lets you see several cameras on one screen, cutting down on battery drain and the data you use.
Ivideon users with business accounts and cloud storage connected can delay recording to their archive in the cloud. Using the new functionality, recordings are first stored locally, on Ivideon Server or an SD card in the camera, and then copied to the cloud later.
If you use your internet for critical systems like cash registers, accounting, and document management, you can’t clog it up with video streams. You can now delay when your recordings are sent to the cloud, for example, by having them copied up at night when nobody’s using the internet.
Scheduled recording to the cloud also helps if internet traffic costs more for you during the day. Start by saving your video locally, and then send it to the cloud at night.
Activating delayed cloud recording
Ivideon Client, just like the web application, lets users watch live feeds and their footage archive from cameras linked to Ivideon Server as well as cameras with Ivideon built in. Videos can be watched via a local area network or online.
After hearing from you, Ivideon Desktop Client 6.4.0 now includes digital zoom during video playback. It’s operated with your mouse wheel, the slider, or by selecting a specific area within the frame, and that means many of you can skip buying a camera with a zoom feature since you can just use our software. Zoom is available both for live feeds and archived video.
But that’s not all.
