How do I enable the hidden mode?
You can enable the hidden mode only when using Ivideon Server for Windows.
Why?In the hidden mode, Ivideon Server is not displayed in the system tray, it hides the main window when it starts and it does not show any messages. This feature is needed if you have to hide the fact that you are conducting surveillance for this or that reason. For example, if you do not want third persons to know that your computer is running as a video server.
To enable the hidden mode:
- Stop Ivideon Server by clicking on the "Stop" button.
- Click on the "Settings" button.
In the next window in the "General" tab at the bottom of the window, check the "Hidden mode" box and click "OK":
In this mode, the program does not appear in the system tray, it hides the main application window when it starts and it does not show any messages. To display the main application window, run the program again.
If you have installed Ivideon Server as a service, Ivideon Server will be displayed exclusively in running services.
To hide Ivideon Server, click "Exit". Then select "Do not stop Ivideon Server and exit".
