Exporting archive using personal account

You can download archive recordings from your cameras for the selected time period in the MP4 format.

An option of exporting recordings using personal account is available only when you activate any suitable (even free "Freemium") pricing plan on the exact camera.

Instructions:

  1. Go to your personal account.
  2. Open the view from the camera where the video you wish to download is located.
  3. Click on the "Export" button:
  4. An orange slider appears on the timeline.
Use the mouse to drag it to the desired time period. You can expand or narrow the selected time interval by pulling the upper corners of the slider in the appropriate direction.
Duration of one exported fragment depends on the selected rate plan and connected services.
  5. Click on the "Download Queue" button.
  6. Go to the "Archive Export" tab.
  7. Download the video archive.

Local export of the archive

When using the local archive (saved to your computer), in addition to downloading archive videos using your personal account, you can export the video in the .mp4 format via Ivideon Client.

You can export recordings available on local video servers (the server must be available in your local area network or must be installed on the same computer).

Instructions

  1. Install Ivideon Client.
  2. Add local video server. You can find instructions on how to do it here.
  3. Open the view from the camera where the video you wish to download is located.
  4. Click on "Archive", then - "Export":
  5. A blue slider appears on the timeline. Use the mouse to drag it to the desired time period. You can expand or narrow the selected time interval by pulling the corners in the appropriate direction.

The maximum duration of one exported fragment is 2 hours.

  6. Click on the "Export" button and wait for the fragment to download, of which you will be notified with a pop-up window indicating the download folder.

Not all players can play saved videos. Should any problems arise, we recommend that you install a K-Lite Codec pack.

Saved videos can be viewed using the VLC player.
